President & Garden Recognition Chair
I’ve lived in Edmonds for 30 years and LOVE my city…and gardening. I’ve volunteered overseas in garden restoration, and I wanted a chance to be involved in my home town. Edmonds in Bloom has been a fun way to give back to my community.

I've always believed that the earth, each day, lovingly sends us beauty. Whether in the Hanging Gardens of Mumbai, the gardens of Versailles, Kew Gardens in London, or my small, colorful, ever changing garden - I get so much more than just beauty; I find renewal, serenity, love, and joy.

Communications Chair
I moved to Edmonds from Lynnwood 7 years ago and immediately noticed the Edmonds in Bloom Recognition signs in yards and in front of downtown businesses -- and who could miss the beautiful flower baskets and corners! My curiosity was piqued, and I wanted to get involved in something I was passionate about (gardening) and volunteered for a couple of years for the Garden Tour and Garden Recognition. I soon learned that Edmonds in Bloom does so much more for the community! As a Board member and as the Marketing and Communications person, one of my roles is to tell you about all the wonderful things Edmonds in Bloom does for our community.

Secretary
As an avid gardener and Edmonds native, I just love how the streets come to life every Spring. I always look forward to the Garden Tour to see the variety of amazing gardens, both large and small, hidden throughout our city. Not only is it a great opportunity to see a wide variety of plants and flowers, I even got to meet Ciscoe Morris at Edmonds Hardware last year!

I have lived in Edmonds for 20 years, along with our small-town community feel, I love the daily beauty of the Sound, Olympic Mountains, forests and the many lovely gardens. I tell my artist friend that my garden is my canvas. We have so many beautiful garden canvas’ in Edmonds which I have enjoyed being part of showing them off at our art gallery, called the EIB Garden Tour.

The beauty and peace of nature have been a life long passion. After moving to the Northwest almost 38 years ago I felt I had moved to paradise and I still do. It is a privilege to participate in an organization that embraces and recognizes natural beauty and honors those who add their own creativity to our natural surroundings.

The beauty of Edmonds was something I had never experienced living in the Midwest. I am excited to be part of the Edmonds In Bloom board that does so much to enhance our community.

I was born and raised in Edmonds and returned home 6 years ago. I grew up gardening with my parents and have recently participated in the garden tour. Gardens create beauty and refuge for all. I am thrilled to be associated with such a great group of garden and people lovers.
